1. Introduction This website is operated by Tallow Heart, based in Bloemfontein, South Africa. By using this site, you agree to these Terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Product Disclaimer (The "Handcrafted" Clause) Our products are handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients, including grass-fed beef tallow and botanical infusions.

Variations: Because they are natural, slight variations in color, scent, and texture may occur between batches. This is a sign of an artisanal product and is not considered a defect.

Temperature Sensitivity: Tallow balms may soften in extreme heat or grain slightly in cold weather. This does not affect the quality of the product.

3. Medical & Safety Disclaimer 

Tallow Heart products are for external cosmetic use only.

Our products and descriptions are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin before full use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

Consult a healthcare professional if you have specific skin conditions or allergies.

4. Pricing and Payment All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR). Payment is processed securely via our third-party providers (PayFast). We do not store your credit card details. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

5. Shipping and Risk Once an order is handed over to the courier, the risk of loss passes to the customer. While we will assist in tracking and resolving issues with the courier, Tallow Heart is not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services.

6. Cooling-Off Period (ECTA Compliance) In accordance with the ECTA, you are entitled to a 7-day "cooling-off" period. However, this does not apply to products that have been unsealed, used, or where hygiene is a factor (such as skincare balms and soaps).

7. Privacy (POPIA) We respect your privacy and comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Your data is only used to process your order and, if you opt-in, to send you our newsletter. We will never sell your information to third parties.

8. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
